Wow, life is busy these days. It’s actually filled with tedium, and routine, filling out day after day after day. Amazing how whole years can rush by without one truly realizing it. 2008 has been an exciting and amazing year, while also being stressful, worrisome, and difficult to face on a daily basis.
I’d be glad to see 2008 end, were it not for the fact that 2009 promises to likely be much worse. At least we’ll have a new President in office soon. Any change is better than what we have now, regardless who you vote for. Me…well, I’d rather not go into that right now. Suffice it to say that I’m very much aware that this is the most important presidential election of my lifetime. At least so far. I’m now old enough to understand the ramifications that this election will have on me and my family. An economic downturn suddenly holds meaning, and is an actual life-event for Jenny and I. It’s not something I overhear my parents talking about, worrying about how they’ll pay the bills, and pay for food. This is ME, worrying the same things.
